The Case is made of stainless steel, measures 39mm in diameter and is 16mm thick. I am very lucky that the watch doesn't appear that fat when carried around the wrist, but I think I will get some problems to fit it under certain shirt cuffs. So I either have to buy myself another watch for this kind of shirts or buy some more shirts with two buttonholes where the cuff size can be increased. I like the weight of this 'not-too-small' watch and also the diameter size is almost perfect for my wrist and taste, but it surely would not be a disadvantage if it where only 12mm thick. |
| The two crowns both have the Sinn 'S' engraved on top and none of them is screw-down. The round pushers are additionally surrounded by protective rings but the crowns are only slightly lowered. With the crown at the ten o'clock position you can turn the inner bezel in both directions in steps of one hour and it is a real pleasure to do because it clicks very exactly into place and operates very smooth. So I never have a third timezone because I always turn the crown a couple of hours forwards and backwards just for fun. The regular crown at three can be used to wind the watch but therefore requires the strength of godzilla, but it is an automatic watch and I also own a winder - so who cares. When the crown is pulled out into its second position you can set the second hour hand by turning clockwise and the date by turning counterclockwise. Pulled out another step the small second hacks and the time can be set. |  |

The pushbutton at two o'clock is used to start and stop the chronograph function. If the chronograph is stopped and the second pusher at four o'clock is pressed the chronograph is simply reset to zero, but if it is pressed while the chrono is running, it is reset and started immediatelly. One might call it a flyback also. |
On the last picture below you can see how thick the watch case is. But some of the height is also added by the two domed saphire crystals, the front crystal with double sided anti-glare finish and the display back with an anti-glare on the inside only.
