Final Conclusions
There are a lot of features I like about that watch: The arrangement of
the subdials, the flyback, three timezones (altough it isn't very useful
to me), position of the date window and the inner bezel with its crown
at ten o'clock. Not to forget the finish they did on the movement this
time. Upon that there is the complete equippment, including bracelet and
strap, that comes with the very beautiful box. All this makes the watch
a very good deal compared to its competitors in the same price range (the
watch is sold for 2019.60 EURO). The only drawbacks, the thickness (16mm)
and the hard to read second timezone hand and chronograph hands, fall way
behind all the positive aspects. So if beeing asked if I would buy the
watch again, I would have to answer yes. To end the review in a correct
manner I have to include some statements here. First, I am not related
to Sinn and I also did not get any money for writing that review. Second,
what I wrote onto these pages are my personal feelings and oppinions, but
nevertheless I tried to be as objective as a proud owner of his 'dreamed-about'
watch can be. Third, I did not ask the owners of the linked pages for their
permission, but I also wasn't forced to do so. And last but not really
last (I did not want to write fourth), I may thank everybody who read all
that gibberish, and ask them to excuse all the punctuation errors, wrong
spellings, typos, misuse of apostophes and splitted infinitives (and also
for the missing foot). Finally, all comments are welcome.
I also would like to remind all fellow watch fetishists, that there
must also be some time in life when you have to put all watches and thoughts
about new watches aside, open a good bottle of champaign or wine, have
a nice talk with your wifes or girlfriends and celebrate life (or the arrival
of a new watch of course).
